THESE ARE THE LAST SEVEN DAYS OF LAURA PALMER.
David Lynch wasn’t ready to let Twin Peaks go after the first two seasons, which is why he made this prequel that follows murder victim Laura Palmer’s (Sheryl Lee) last week in life, a depressing and dark journey through hell.
Critically lambasted at the premiere, partially redeemed later because of stubborn support from faithful fans, the movie remains largely pointless because we don’t learn anything we didn’t know from the show… and it is exceptionally boring, save for a few inspired scenes, one of them featuring Lynch himself and a mime.
