Framed for a murder, Conny Rundkvist (Filip Berg) ends up in a prison where he makes friends and potential business partners with criminals who’ve dug a tunnel to freedom.

A passable remake of a crime comedy that was a big hit in Swedish theaters in 1988. A lot of energy goes into a movie that never earns big laughs, but benefits from Berg’s laidback performance as an aimless everyday hero trying to figure out who set him up.

There’s virtually nothing here that feels believable, and the action is less than thrilling… but it’s still fun, with amusing references to the star of the original, Björn Skifs.
