BELIEVE AGAIN.
When an FBI agent is kidnapped, Fox Mulder and Dana Scully (David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson) are consulted by the Bureau; the only clue is a disgraced priest (Billy Connolly) with psychic abilities.
Ten years after the first film, the stars were reunited with the original show’s creator for the production of a sequel that was shrouded in secrecy. Now that we’ve seen the film, one is tempted to say ”is that all?”
The story plays like an average (and not terribly memorable) episode of the TV series. I wanted to believe in it; at least it’s great to see Mulder and Scully again.
