EVERYONE HAS DEMONS.
When 16-year-old Danielle (Blu Hunt) wakes up in a hospital chained to her bed, she learns that she’s now a patient there together with other teenagers who have one thing in common: supernatural powers.
This spin-off to the X-Men movies introduces a new bunch of gifted mutants and a different concept. Pitched as ”Stephen King meets John Hughes”, the film has Breakfast Club-style drama (uneasily) combined with horror effects.
OK cast, but bogged down by a dull climax involving a demon bear, no less.
