DO YOU DARE WALK THESE STEPS AGAIN?
Lieutenant Kinderman (George C. Scott) investigates several gruesome murders that remind him of a serial killer who was executed years ago, as well as a diabolical case from the 1970s…
A significantly more intriguing sequel than Heretic, one that has attained a certain cult status. Ambitious story, but also talky, as the cop from the first movie tries to figure out if an incarcerated mental patient is the deceased serial killer, or Father Karras, or… something else.
Scott delivers an uneven, over-the-top performance, but there’s a few good shocks.
