After the capture of the Golden State Killer, Swedish police finally got a similar break in a case where two perplexing murders could be solved thanks to genetic genealogy.

This sharp, mournful and straightforward dramatization has conventional trappings (a dedicated cop who neglects his family) and never feels as remarkable as the case that inspired it – but it’s still engrossing, with a good cast.
