A family gathers for Christmas, but disruption comes in the shape of a sister with a dark past who shows up with a new guy and a stepdaughter.

A chaotic portrait of a family, developed from an idea by Paprika Steen, where secrets are about to be spilled and confrontations will test the cheerful spirits. Naturally, a snowstorm prevents everybody from trying to escape.

A fine cast, but it’s never funny or moving enough to make much of an impact. The intended emotional finale ends on a sour note.
