HOUSTON HAS A NEW PROBLEM.

After a bit of creative help from her best friend (Poppy Liu), Florida party girl Rex Simpson (Emma Roberts) finds herself at NASA, trying to become an astronaut.

Perhaps the ambition was to make a new Legally Blonde (2001), with a ditzy character who has to prove to others (and herself) that she has what it takes to make it into space.

Harmless fun to some extent, but the exceptionally dumb plot could only have been helped by good jokes, of which there are none.
