Sidney (Neve Campbell) leaves her life in isolation and goes to Hollywood where a new killer is terrorizing the cast and crew of “Stab 3”.

The third part of the Scream franchise doesn’t have a script by Kevin Williamson, and Wes Craven only agreed to do it as part of a new deal with the studio, so no one’s heart is really in this.

Fans will enjoy the usual meta references, jokes and blodletting. Some scenes are effective, and it’s pretty entertaining, but the shocks are more mechanical than scary and the freshness of the concept is gone.
