Memory

HIS MIND IS FADING. HIS CONSCIENCE IS CLEAR.

Professional assassin Alex Lewis (Liam Neeson), who’s in the early stages of Alzheimer, tells his employer that he won’t kill his new target, a 13-year-old girl, putting himself in danger.

A remake of a Belgian film, The Memory of a Killer (2003), whose central premise is intriguing, but never generates enough suspense or emotion here, especially since it resembles so many other mediocre Neeson outings.

Martin Campbell may have directed two terrific Bond flicks, but this thriller will fade in our memory.

2022-U.S. 114 min. Color. Widescreen. Directed by Martin Campbell. Novel: Jef Geeraerts. Cast: Liam Neeson (Alex Lewis), Guy Pearce (Vincent Serra), Monica Bellucci (Davana Sealman), Harold Torres, Taj Atwal, Ray Fearon.
