A huge reason why this horror movie is fun to watch is how meticulously it recreates a TV show from the 1970s, alternating between the actual broadcast where the invited guests are about to unleash hell, and the drama behind the scenes during ad breaks. David Dastmalchian is good as the host who’s attempting a comeback after suffering a personal crisis.

Feels like an episode of The Twilight Zone, but not as scary as one would’ve hoped for.
