THE WORLD IS A STAGE.

As Arthur Fleck’s (Joaquin Phoenix) murder trial in Gotham City is about to begin, he meets an intriguing female patient (Lady Gaga) in Arkham and strikes up a connection.

An undeniably bold sequel to Joker (2019) in the shape of a jukebox musical that was largely rejected by critics and audiences. Maintains the original film’s look and builds on its themes, including the destructive effect of social media.

But the sequel adds little and its dark musical numbers are unremarkable, albeit visually appealing.
