When the CIA realizes that a former technician of theirs, Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles), intends to expose a top-secret file and has made contact with Jason Bourne (Matt Damon), the hunt is on once again.
It took nine years for Damon and Paul Greengrass to reunite for a third sequel to The Bourne Identity (2002), but you can tell how comfortably they slip into it. Each Bourne movie looks like a do-over; this one is unevenly paced and the least remarkable of the sequels.
Still, there’s two spectacular, intense action sequences that stand out, in Greece and Vegas.
