Janne (Peter Haber) is horrified to learn that his girlfriend (Katarina Ewerlöf) invited all the men she has children with, and their families, for Christmas… and the dinner quickly goes off the rails.
A chaotic examination of the holidays for divorced families that became a modern classic in Sweden. A pregnancy has complicated consequences; everything is cranked up to 11, with no shortage of misunderstandings and nasty taunts. Funny and relevant, with a perfect vulgar part for Dan Ekborg.
Kjell Sundvall contrasts all the misery with lovely candlelight and snow – but the noise and bile is a bit too much in the end.
