A young American woman (Sydney Sweeney) who’s a novice in an Italian convent learns one day that she’s pregnant – even though she’s never had sex.

Sweeney auditioned for this project as a teenager, returning to it ten years later when she had become a star and bought the rights. She gives a full-throated performance in a horror movie that flirts with nunsploitation and turns into a furious attack on pro-life activists who deny women complete control over their bodies.

Ends with an unforgettably harsh scene, which makes you forgive lame attempts at jump scares.
