TWO MEN + PREGNANT WOMAN = MODERN FAMILY.
Simon and Oscar (Anastasios Soulis, Anton Lundqvist) invite their whole families for Christmas… but haven’t told them that a woman is moving in and that they’re all having a baby.
Director Helena Bergström and the writers behind The Medicine (2014) deliver a comedy that has modern sentiments collide with older generations. We’re reminded of In Bed with Santa (1999), but this film finds its own feet. Amusing dialogue almost hides the fact that there’s a lot of darkness here, but that part of the story gets more attention later on.
Things fall into place a bit too neatly in the end, but Robert Gustafsson and Maria Lundqvist are solid.
