Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

A newly reestablished Ghostbusters square off against a new threat in New York City: a god looking to rule the world with an army of ghosts.

The fifth film in the franchise was dedicated to the memory of Ivan Reitman who passed away before the premiere. Much of it should please fans; it’s well-paced and has charm, good visual effects and a nice New York feel.

The film successfully continues the Afterlife story… but the barrage of nostalgia is getting a little strained, and Bill Murray looks like he’s feeling it.
