REMEMBER HER.

A spin-off to the Mad Max franchise that also serves as a prequel to Fury Road (2015), tracking the fierce Furiosa’s upbringing and how she as a child first came into contact with brutal raiders, led by a warlord (Chris Hemsworth) who would become her arch-enemy.

Many of the same collaborators from Fury Road returned to create more of that film’s insane mayhem and visual pleasures.

Hemsworth is perhaps having a little too much fun as Dementus, and pacing certainly lags, but Anya Taylor-Joy is up for the challenge and there are eye-popping moments.
