A TSA officer (Taron Egerton) at LAX is targeted by a mysterious man (Jason Bateman) who says he will kill his girlfriend unless a specific bag makes its way safely on board a plane.

Shades of Die Hard 2 (1990) in this Yuletide action-thriller where the whole airport becomes the scene of a cat-and-mouse game between Egerton and Bateman. Especially the latter is fun to watch in an unusual role as an icy villain, but Danielle Deadwyler also gets a wild, adrenaline-pumped fight scene in a speeding car.

Well-paced action makes up for a dumb story.
