A troubled teenager (Eliza Scanlen) and a young man (Dylan O’Brien) who’s obsessed with the death of his mother experience strange disturbances around Caddo Lake on the border between Texas and Louisiana.

Starts out engagingly enough, and this thriller did get positive reviews here and there, but as we move into supernatural territory and a story with Twilight Zone vibes, tension subsides due to confusing time jumps and a somber tone that turns the movie into a bit of a drag.
