ONE LITTLE BUMP. ONE BIG QUESTION. 

Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger), 43, suddenly finds herself pregnant, but who’s the father – her ex Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) or Jack Qwant (Patrick Dempsey), an American billionaire and inventor?

A belated third film in this franchise that does improve upon the last time we saw Bridget; perhaps the return of the original director and Emma Thompson’s work on the script had something to do with it. It’s also been six years since we saw Zellweger in anything, but she knows how to do this part well and segue into an older Bridget.

Overlong for sure, but it feels relevant and deftly balanced between humor and drama.
