NEW DECADE. NEW DIARY.
Nine years after the third film came a new bumbling adventure for Bridget, who has sadly entered her fourth year as a single, sexless mother, widowed after the tragic death of Mark (don’t worry, Colin Firth still makes a few tasteful appearances)… but then a hunky 28-year-old (Leo Woodall) sweeps her off her feet. Could it work, or is something better coming her way?
You will know the answer ten minutes into the movie, which faces an uphill climb, with far too much mugging from Renée Zellweger… but the film grows on you, with lots of silly, amusing and emotional moments.
