THEY ONLY LOOK LIKE THE PERFECT COUPLE.
During a trip to Sydney where they are guests at a wedding, Bea and Ben (Sydney Sweeney, Glen Powell), who once hooked up and now loathe each other, find themselves having to pretend they’re a couple.
The greatest selling point of this romantic comedy is as a vehicle for a couple of rising stars, Sweeney and Powell, who are pretty and engaging enough in a story that was inspired by Shakespeare’s ”Much Ado About Nothing”. Much of it is silly, but there’s a certain ambition coupled with joy and sexiness that hits a sweet spot.
Australian locations and a pleasant supporting cast add to it.
