A group of people, including a 1980s video game champion (Jason Momoa), are thrown into a strange dimension where cubes are used as magical building blocks.

This wildly successful adaptation of the sandbox game must’ve been inspired by the Jumanji movies; Jack Black is once again in on it, this time as one of the original ”Minecraft” characters.

The target audience is obviously kids and teens who’ve played the game. Anyone else will find an initially amusing adventure that loses its charm as it gets emptier and louder.
