RALPHIE COMES HOME.
In 1973, Ralph Parker (Peter Billingsley) lives in Chicago with his wife (Erinn Hayes) and two kids when he learns that his father has passed away; the whole family goes back to Hohman, Indiana to be with Ralph’s mother (Julie Hagerty).
A sequel to A Christmas Story (1983) that takes place three decades later with a now grown-up Ralphie whose imagination still guides him… if only he can get published. The return to Indiana becomes just as nostalgic for fans of the original film as you can imagine.
Genuinely sweet; it’s nice to see a movie that doesn’t feel a need to force some contrived conflict into the story.
