NEW DECADE. NEW RULES.
Many years after the original murders in Woodsboro, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) returns to her hometown to promote a new book… and then the killings start all over again.
11 years after the last movie, Wes Craven got back together with the franchise’s original writer and came up with a story that is utterly unsurprising but still entertaining. Once again, the duo play around with genre conventions and make a few stabs at having the material seem more contemporary.
Not a bad cast, but this is a missed opportunity to shake up the concept.
