In 1976, an 11-year old Gru and his minions are trying to join a group of supervillains, but instead make new enemies.

The sequel to Minions (2015) was another enormous hit and showed that all it takes is for the minions to make an appearance and kids will be there for it in droves. The last film ended with them meeting Gru for the first time and now their collaboration deepens in a headache-inducing adventure.

Pretty empty, and the supporting cast is wasted… but a crazy plane ride is a highlight.
