DISCOVER THE PAST. SAVE THE FUTURE.
After the death of her estranged father, Callie (Carrie Coon) moves with her two kids (Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard) to his house in Oklahoma, where his secrets and a supernatural threat will emerge.
Unlike the 2016 Ghostbusters, this sequel does whatever it can not to rock the boat, desperately trying to reconnect with the 1984 original.
Don’t look for novel ideas here, but Jason Reitman still handles his father’s legacy with a deft touch, creating a sweet, fun and well-paced adventure, with spirited visual effects, a very likable young cast and welcome cameos from the original stars.
