Released one year before the tragic death of 28-year-old Tim ”Avicii” Bergling, the Swedish DJ who had become a global phenomenon, this documentary feels prophetic now, to say the least.

Telling the story of how Avicii rose to prominence thanks to genuine musical talent and hours of hard work behind a computer, the film shows how he came to live what he and his male buddies always dreamed of, the Entourage life. But along with all that comes pressure and anxiety and Avicii falls victim to physical and mental problems while touring.

We get really close to him and his struggle to recover and try to figure out what really brings him joy. Also valuable as a serious look into an often derided art form.
