FAMILY IS FOREVER.

After seemingly stabbing Michael Myers (Tyler Mane) to death, Laurie Strode (Scout Taylor-Compton) is rushed to the hospital to be treated for her wounds, but Michael turns out to have survived and continues his quest.

Director Rob Zombie gives this sequel the same look and style as the 2007 original, but the tension is gone. Everything that’s negative about the characters is emphasized, which makes them tiresome to watch, and the story has pretentious ideas that only slow Michael Myers down.
