Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

ONE KING WILL LEAD US ALL.

Four years after becoming king of Atlantis, Arthur (Jason Momoa) is not only a dad but faces a renewed threat from Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II).

A slight improvement on the first film, because of how it cleverly incorporates the climate crisis as a relevant part of the story, and also because it’s fun watching Momoa and Patrick Wilson try to heal their sibling rivalry as they embark on a new adventure.

Visual effects and the design of the film provide eye candy, but the story is less than satisfying, losing steam in the final battle.
