The story of how The Pirate Bay, a Swedish torrent website run by a group of computer-savvy young men, became a tangible threat to the film industry, has its similarities with the one told in a different miniseries, The Playlist (2022).

While trying to capture the enthusiasm, ideology and chutzpah behind innovations like Spotify and The Pirate Bay, it is also an attempt to fairly depict those who fought for copyright issues during the most intense period of this conflict.

Engaging enough, with a cast of characters where no one comes across as a hero.
