When her husband (Pål Sverre Hagen) tells her that he wants a divorce, Stella (Josephine Bornebusch) refuses to accept it and makes him come along on a trip where their 16-year-old daughter (Sigrid Johnson) is competing in a pole-dance contest.
Another impressive drama from Bornebusch about relationships, this time examining the mother role and the challenges of being successful as both a parent and a partner.
Starts out with an amusing portrait of the husband as an inept therapist, but Bornebusch digs deeper and creates, together with a fine cast, a very relatable and gripping film about flawed people trying to secure a future before it’s too late.
