THEY’VE COME TO STAY…
Frank (Kjell Bergqvist) and his family move into an old countryside house, but problems are mounting… especially the fact that something creepy is hiding in the attic.
Admittedly, this low-budget horror movie has an awful music score that sounds like something a drunk John Carpenter might’ve come up with on his synth. Obviously, the script is on the simple side. And, sure, directing and acting have moments that are over-the-top. But the film became a minor cult classic, especially in Sweden.
We empathize with the family, there are clever visual touches, tension builds without delay – and there’s a few decent shocks.
