THE FACE OF MADNESS RETURNS.

Fifty years after the events in the original movie, a bunch of young entrepreneurs arrive in a small Texas town, looking to auction off properties; an encounter with an old woman introduces them to Leatherface.

Meant as a direct sequel to the 1974 classic, there are many parts of the story that make no sense and the social critique is half-hearted at best.

The film wants to look modern and fresh, but doesn’t really; what it does have is a gloriously gory massacre in a bus.
